Required Candidate Skills :

1. Candidate Should have reasonably good understanding about basic accounting concepts, financial mgt concepts and basic accounting ratios.
2. Candidate Should have reasonable awareness about financial statements. Should know what these statements mean, what all components do these have etc.
3. Candidate Should have good communication skills - written. Though no client interaction is required but still a person need to have written skills developed to an extent where he can frame a communication / paragraph without any grammatical errors.
4. Candidate Should have interest in capital markets and has aspirations to make a career in capital markets over a period of time. Anybody interested in accounting is not desirable for hiring.
5. Candidate Should be flexible enough to work in different shifts at different points in time.
6. Candidate Should have basic awareness about computers and should be good on keyboard skills.
7. Candidate Should be comfortable with data job. It s not an analytical role.
8. Candidate Should be able to work under pressure during busy seasons. There would be a need to over stretch during the busy season to manage the volumes.
9. Candidate Should be a very quick learner and should display high level of agility.

Job Description:

1. Candidate should Process data and apply in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge to add value (this includes exchange and contributed data).
2. Liaise with local exchange to ensure that data is maintained at a high standard Work with contributors to ensure that their data is maintained to a high quality ensuring that where possible existing contributors extend their level of coverage to new markets and instrument types when needed.
3. Candidate should Act as a secondary source of knowledge on own data, communicating with other departments and external departments in the resolution of queries on exchange data and historical data as needed.
4. Develop towards being a centre of excellence on all issues relating to real time and contributed data.
5. Candidate should Adhere to Change Control procedures, Data Operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
6. Ensure that the relevant procedures are maintained and adhered to.
7. Candidate should Respond to customer issues on a daily basis Alert internal and external clients when data issues are identified.
